Alan enters his tenth year as a coach in the Nanticoke basketball
program and his sixth season on the varsity bench. He graduated
from Wilkes University in 2000 with a degree in Mathematics and
is currently continuing his education there, pursuing a Master’s
Degree. Alan is a 1996 Nanticoke Area High School graduate and
basketball alum where he starred at the power forward position,
leading the Trojans to back-to-back P.I.A.A. District 2 Championships
in 1995 and 1996. He was a two-time Wyoming Valley Conference
All-Scholastic and finished his career scoring over 1000 points
and pulling down more than 500 rebounds. Alan currently teaches
mathematics in the Nanticoke Area High School and also serves
as faculty advisor to the Trojanaire yearbook and the student
athletic club. He began his teaching and basketball coaching careers
at Delaware Valley High School in Pike County teaching math and
coaching the freshman team for two years. In his free time, he
enjoys sports, particularly New York’s baseball Yankees
and football Giants, reading and movies. |
