Ken enters his thirteenth year as the Trojans’ head coach
after serving four years in the Junior High program under former
Nanticoke mentors, Jim Zubritski and Jim Carey. Under his guidance,
the Trojans have participated in post-season play every year,
winning P.I.A.A. District 2 championships in 1995, 1996, 1998
and 2003. They were also District 2 silver medallists in 1999
and 2001. They were crowned Wyoming Valley Conference champions
in 1999, 2000 and 2003 as well. Ken is a 1986 graduate of The
Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Civil Engineering. He also attended Wilkes University where he
obtained his Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Physics and
General Science. Ken graduated from Greater Nanticoke Area High
School in 1981, playing basketball for Nanticoke’s legendary
coach Syl Bozinski along with golf and volleyball. He is currently
a Project Manager in charge of the Traffic Division of Michael
J. Pasonick, Jr. and Associates, Consulting Engineers and Surveyors.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends along with
his hobbies of college sports, particularly his Penn State Nittany
Lions, playing golf, music and traveling. |
