| TROJANS ANNOUNCE SCHEDULE FOR 2005-06 SEASON |
|
| The home opener December 3 against long time rival Coughlin under new head coach Joe Caffery is but one of the highlights in a tough non-conference schedule the 2005-06 edition of the Nanticoke Trojans will face. In addition to two games with each of their Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 rivals beginning with a trip to Bishop Hoban on December 20, the team will be tested on road trips to powerful Crestwood, Pittston Area, Northwest and perennial District 2 AAAA favorite Hazleton Area on January 20. The Trojans will also participate in the annual Holiday Classic tournament, this year being held at Abington Heights high school on December 27 and 29. In addition to the opener, home games with Wyoming Valley West and Tunkhannock will provide excitement for the Trojan faithful culminating with the annual Senior Nite game on February 7 when G.A.R. will be the guest. The season is shaping up as another challenging one for the team and a thrilling one for the fans who as always will be counted on to serve as the indispensable “sixth man” with their tremendous support. |
